Choose the Record Custodian

Cambria County Prison can address an immediate physical-custody question, although telephone disclosure may be limited. Its address is 425 Manor Drive, Ebensburg, PA 15931; phone (814) 472-7330; fax (814) 472-1367. Published lobby hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Those are not stated records-office or release-processing hours.

Formal prison records and retained booking photographs go to Cambria County Open Records Officer Melissa Kestermont, 200 S. Center St., Ebensburg, PA 15931; phone (814) 472-1607; fax (814) 472-6940; email mkestermont@co.cambria.pa.us. Requests may be sent by email, mail, fax, or delivered in person. These additional routes point to the office that can address each need:

  • For FCI Loretto questions: Bureau of Prisons institution line, (814) 472-4140. Use the BOP locator or FOIA for release records.

Use the subject pages when the need is procedural rather than a direct agency call:

  • The home page contains the full named-person search and county release-record request steps.
  • Parole and probation explains how to choose between county and state supervision offices.
  • The 24-hour release page gives the same-day fallback because Cambria has no public release feed.
  • Projected release date and VINELink check cover future dates and custody-event alerts.
  • The facility pages in the footer separate Cambria County Prison from federal FCI Loretto.
  • State-sentenced people use PA DOC; federal and immigration custody use BOP or ICE.
